Here’s something a little bit strange. I just received the ever reliable and high quality SitePoint tech times which has a lead article on HTML5.
The article suggests that I take a look at the YouTube html5 video player. I rushed over there excitedly using my Chrome browser and I see this….
Do you notice anything strange where it says “Supported Browsers”?
Now take a look at this page in Internet Explorer 8
hmmm….supported browsers include Google Chrome.
Anyway the beta worked nicely but I found it kinda funny that the instructions page didn’t.
Here is the subtle change when watching the video using HTML 5.
