For many years if Web Content Management vendors claimed they supported publishing from Word to HTML we used to chuckle. It was simply a crazy proposition because everyone knows what Word does when it converts content to HTML, it creates a big messy soup of inline css and other strange tags. That was until the Office 2007 / 2010 era. The built in Office conversion is still rudimentary at best but there are tools which can augment the process and produce clean, semantic HTML. The only way to do justification to the overall quality of this process is to show it working in CommunityManager.NET the Elcom Web CMS. So I recorded the process in this short video…
